Statistic’s for Central Alberta's Single Family homes for the 3rd quarter of 2019
Compared to 2018’s 3rd quarter, these are the statistics for homes that have sold
Blackfalds sales decreased by 29% Sylvan sales on par from last year Red Deer sales increased by 2% Rocky sales increased by 10% Ponoka Sales increased by 30 % Lacombe sales decreased by 20%
Average days on market is still unpredictable regardless of price bracket, there is still vulnerability there.
Homes Over half a million dollars have been biggest struggle with sales due to the lack of buyers in this state of our economy.
Good news is that some of our smaller communities like ponoka and rocky are getting more activity.
Construction new builds single family homes are trickling downward. Sylvan Lake is building around 2 homes a month same with Blackfalds and when you equalize red deer, they’re building around 5 houses a month.
